The Expert's opinion

You need to play it. Is one of those courses with NO BAD holes!

Additional information

The Buenos Aires Golf Club opened in 1994. Just one year later, in 1995, the club hosted the Argentine Open and the South American Amateur Championship. In 2000 this course also hosted the EMC Golf World Cup, when the Americans Tiger Woods and David Duval defeated in the last round the argentine team (Eduardo Romero and Angel Cabrera). The Buenos Aires Golf Club was designed by Robert Von Hagge and is said to be the best course in the country. This 7000 yards, par 72 course is full of water and bunkers with excellent greens and marvelous maintenance. The club has three different 9 holes courses: Green, Blue and Yellow. All of them interesting and challenging designs. In 2005 Golf Digest Magazine ranked Buenos Aires Golf Club among the top 100 courses around the world.

The Good & The Bad

Excellent Design Windy / Lot of water

Signature Hole

8th Yellow (17th) / Par 4 / 343 yards:
On of the few "island greens" in Argentina. In this short par 4 Cabrera lost his chances in the 2007 National Open. You need excelent precission both for the tee shot and approach. Beware, the small and windy island is waiting for you!!
