Is one of the few courses in the whole world to have 18 holes in between biuldings..
In the middle of the city!!
Even more, designed by the "Golf Architecure of the XXI Century" Mr. Allister MacKenzie
You should not miss this opportunity!
GC Palermo is located in the exact middle of the Palermo Parks, heart of the city and surrounded by buildings. It forms part of the “sports corridor” of Buenos Aires created around 1900, together with the “Campo Argentino de Polo” “Hipodromo Argentino”, the “Lawn Tennis Club” and the “Tenis Club Argentino”. Famous architecture Allister Mackenzie designed this short 72-Par of 6.585 yards in 1922 for the Golf Club Argentino, but the lands were expropriated by Peron’s government in the 50s so the club moved its course to the actual location. Some years later was re-opened as a public course, where everybody can play from TUE to SUN at a very convenient price. Unluckily the maintenance is not perfect, what is really a pity. This course is unique jewel of its kind for offering an 18 holes trail of more than 80 years in the middle of one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. Besides is a very prestigious place, having hosted the Argentine PGA Tour several times. The design is really excellent, and with maintenance accordingly this would definitely be one of the top ten Buenos Aires courses.

Lack of Clubhouse. Lack of practice area. Maintennace should be better. |
6th Hole / Par 5 / 525 yards / Stroke Index 1
This is a not so hard par 5 for playing a lay-up. Is a soft dogleg to the left, with "out of bounds" all along the right side. An excelent risk/reward hole; getting the green in two is REALLY DIFICULT! on the last 130 yards the fairway stars getting thiner and thiner, with a short cross bunker on the right side and a green bunker on the left protects a two level big putting platform.
